Dear Patients of Jacobson Eyecare,

As many of you know, I have been working at Jacobson Eyecare as a full-time provider since December of 2019. Since I moved to Lancaster County in 2004, it has been my dream to own an optometry practice in Lititz, PA, and I have exciting news to share with you. I recently purchased Jacobson Eyecare from Dr. William Jacobson and his wife, Randi. The Jacobson’s set a solid foundation for the practice, and I am so grateful for their trust in me and my expertise which will continue to be extended to you, our valued patients.

During the transition, Aetna (Eyemed) sent out a letter to many of you stating that Jacobson Eyecare is no longer a provider for Aetna. This is incorrect. We will continue to participate with the same insurance plans we have participated with, including Aetna. Actually, we now participate with more Eyemed plans.
